These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your download, installation and use of the Album Designer software application ("the App"), published by Pixsora ("we", "us", "Company"). By downloading, installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. This document is a general template and does not constitute legal advice; we recommend review by qualified legal counsel before publication.
01Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the App you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the authority to enter into these Terms, whether on your own behalf or on behalf of a studio or business.
02Licence Grant
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your internal photography/album-design business or personal use. Two licensing paths are available:
- Free with Pixsora — provided at no additional charge to active Pixsora members, for the duration of that membership.
- Album Designer plan — ₹375 / month or ₹3,500 / year — a subscription including all features, updates during the term, and an Unlimited Ticket for Color Correction (priority color-correction support; see Section 4).
03Subscription & Billing
The Album Designer plan is billed at ₹375 per month or ₹3,500 per year (plus applicable taxes). Access to paid features requires an active subscription or active Pixsora membership. Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect the current paid term. Failure to renew may suspend access to the App and its paid features.
04Unlimited Ticket for Color Correction
Paid subscribers receive an Unlimited Ticket for Color Correction: you may raise an unlimited number of color-correction support requests during your active subscription term. Reasonable-use and fair-use principles apply; we may define and operate the ticketing system, its scope, turnaround and channels at our discretion, and may update them from time to time. This entitlement is non-transferable and has no cash value.
05Permitted Use
You may use the App to design, color-correct, lay out and export photo albums for yourself and your clients. Output you create from your own photographs and lawfully-licensed assets belongs to you.
06Restrictions
You must not, and must not permit others to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate, or attempt to derive source code or bytecode from the App;
- circumvent, disable, or tamper with the App's licensing, activation, integrity, or asset-protection mechanisms;
- copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the App or any license key/activation;
- share a single licence across more machines or users than authorised;
- use the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
07Activation & Hardware Locking
The App uses online activation and is hardware-locked to the device on which it is activated. To validate licences and protect against misuse, the App may transmit a non-personal hardware identifier and licence/integrity status to our servers. Using the App on unauthorised hardware, or tampering with the application bundle, may cause activation or integrity checks to fail and the App to stop functioning.
08Third-Party Software & Templates
The App requires Adobe Photoshop 2024 or newer, which you must license separately from Adobe. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe. The App can work with third-party / "market" PSD templates, masks and assets; you are solely responsible for holding the necessary rights and licences to any templates or assets you use.
09Intellectual Property
The App, its code, design, branding, "Album Designer" and "Pixsora" marks, and all related materials are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited licence in Section 2.
10Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automation features — including references to approximately 90% color-correction accuracy — are indicative averages, not guarantees; results vary by source material, lighting and configuration, and you remain responsible for reviewing all output before delivery. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from or related to the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a licence has been issued or activated. Any discretionary refund or credit does not waive these Terms.
13Termination
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these Terms or attempt to defeat the App's protection mechanisms. On termination you must stop using and remove the App. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
14Updates
We may release updates, fixes and new features, and may modify or discontinue features over time. Some updates may be required for continued operation, compatibility or security.
15Privacy
The App collects only what is necessary for licensing and integrity (such as a hardware identifier and licence status). It does not upload your photographs or album projects to us. Your use of any associated website or support is also subject to our privacy practices.
16Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different mandatory consumer law applies to you.
17Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
