Living photo albums

Make your printed photos alive.

Pair every printed photo with the video it came from. Your client opens a single link once, then points their phone at any photo in the album — and it starts playing, right there on the page.

Features

No QR codes. No app. Just the photo.

Most 'living photo' products make you print a QR next to every image. PixLive doesn't — the photo itself is the trigger, so your album stays clean.

🎬

Photo becomes the trigger

Point the phone at the printed image and its video plays. Nothing is added to your layout — no codes, no markers, no borders.

🔗

One link per album

Your client opens a single link once. From then on every photo in the album responds — they never scan anything again.

Works on glossy albums

Built and tested against real printed album pages, including glossy laminate where reflections usually defeat recognition.

🏢

Your studio's branding

Your name appears on the opening screen, and your number shows as tap-to-call while the video plays.

📁

Album-based organisation

Group photo-video pairs into albums per client or per event, and manage them from one dashboard.

📱

Nothing for them to learn

There's no app to download and no account for the client. They open a link and point a camera.

How it works

Four steps to a living album

01

Create an album

One album per client or event, from the PixLive Studio dashboard.

02

Add photo + video pairs

Upload the printed photo and the video it came from. Use a matching first frame so recognition locks on instantly.

03

Set your branding

Add your studio name and phone number for the opening screen and tap-to-call.

04

Share one link

Send the album link. They open it once, then point their phone at any printed photo.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does the client need an app?

No. PixLive runs in the phone's browser. They open your link once and point the camera — there is nothing to install and no account to create.

Do I have to print a QR code on the album?

No, and that's the point. The printed photograph itself is what the phone recognises, so your album design stays exactly as you designed it.

Will it work on glossy laminated pages?

Yes. Glossy stock is the normal case for wedding albums and PixLive is built for it.

What video should I pair with each photo?

The clip the still came from, ideally starting on a frame that matches the print. The closer the first frame is to the photo, the faster it locks on.

Can my studio's name appear?

Yes. Your name shows on the opening screen and your phone number appears as a tap-to-call button while the video plays.
